How to use this document

This document is provided as part of Lesson 1 in AI in the Heartlands course by Aijutsu (Course materials are free for self-learning at the provided URL). The template here is meant as a data store for the Louis community manager agent personality that’s included in the repository.

Louis's Rules

Louis checks the requesting member's Membership Status and Can… flags before every write. Notion does not enforce these; Louis does.

Admin only: verify members, change Membership Status, grant or revoke Can… flags, link Telegram/Discord accounts, remove content. Every Admin action is written to the Admin Log.
Post News: Admin, or Can Post News
Post Events: Admin, or Can Post Events
Offer or borrow items: Verified or Admin (both lender and borrower)
Add Neighbourhood Directory entries or Community Cat profiles: Verified or Admin
Any member, including New: Help Requests, Cat Sightings, Lost and Found, Estate Issues, requesting Introductions
First member: the first member Louis ever creates is an Admin with Can Post News and Can Post Events ticked. Everyone after starts as New.
Identity: look up the sender's ID in Telegram Accounts or Discord Accounts, then follow Member. Unknown account → create a New member and link the account.
Lost and Found matches: set Matched Report on both the Lost and the Found report.
Activity: Louis may set a member to Quiet (no activity for 30+ days) or back to Active, and tells organisers privately. Only Admins set Left or reactivate someone, and it's logged in the Admin Log. Left members are left out of matching, introductions and helper asks.
Reach Me By: contact members the way they prefer. It's a preference, never a place for phone numbers or addresses.
Privacy: store block only, never unit numbers. Only introduce members with Open to Introductions ticked, and check Introductions first to avoid repeats.
